When you're not home, your cats will be cared for daily, in the comfort of your home to ensure their complete comfort. No need to kennel them!
I will spend time feeding them, playing with them, cleaning up after them, and providing you with reports for each visit with photos, so you'll know your cats are very well taken care of.
Administering Meds and Emergency Vet Transport
To set your mind at ease, I am comfortable administering necessary medications, per your vet's instructions, to your cats. If any emergency medical issues arise, I will personally transport them to your preferred veterinarian to ensure their health and safety.

On top of taking care of your beloved felines, my services include taking in mail and packages, turning on/off lights, watering plants, as well as opening and closing blinds as requested, to give your home the appearance that
someone is still home.

Emergency Transport to Vet

Prior to the beginning of cat-sitting services, we'll meet at your residence so that I may get to know your cats and discuss their unique care needs for while you're away.
Each visit will take about 30 minutes to care for 1-2 cats. One visit per day, minimum. However, you may schedule up to 3 per day.
If you have more than 2 cats, each subsequent pet adds an extra $15 and an extra 15 minutes (per additional pet) to the standard visit. This ensures each animal has the time attention and care they deserve.
For added peace of mind, if your cat is in need of a veterinarian while you're gone, I will transport them to your preferred vet/animal hospital. The charge is $30 for every 30 minutes it takes to transport and wait for your animal to be treated and transport back to your home.
Holiday Visits
$5 added to regular visit price
An extra $5 is added on top of the regular visit price for any visits that fall on a major Federal holiday, including New Year's Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.

Morning Visits
Morning visits are performed between 8am-10am.
Mid-Day Visits
Mid-day visits are performed between 1pm-3pm.
Afternoon Visits
Evening visits are performed between 4pm-6pm.
Policies

All new clients must sign a service contract in order to receive cat-sitting services. When you click "Book Now," you will be taken to my scheduling site. You will have to create a new account, fill out your profile, enter all necessary information about each pet and sign a contract agreement.

MINIMUM 1 VISIT PER DAY to ensure your pets' wellness and safety, and up to 3 visits per day may be scheduled. More than 3 visits will be made ONLY when it is medically necessary for your pets.

Visits MUST be scheduled with AT LEAST 7 days' notice. Any visits requested in under that time will be denied. This is to give me ample time to meet you, your pets, and for the consideration of all other clients scheduled with West Maui Cat Sitter, LLC.

No specific visit time can be given unless for medical reasons (ex: having to administer medications at specific times of day per veterinary instructions).

A physical key must be given to ensure entry to your home, and to ensure your pets can be cared for. In case of power outages or battery failures, key codes/key pads may not work.

Payment for all visits must be paid 50% up-front at time of booking along with the entirety of the price of the Meet and Greet, prior to date of service. The remaining 50% must be paid 3 days prior to date of service with signed contract agreement, or service will be denied.

CANCELLATIONS: Refunds will be given for cancellations with at least 3 days' notice. Any cancellations made with less than 3 days' notice prior to date of service, there will be no refunds for any funds paid.

My name is Amy Prior and I am very dedicated to providing reliable and exceptional care to your beloved cats. I've adored cats my entire life and have been caring for them for over 30 years. Caring for and loving cats is what brings me the greatest joy in life and I promise to love your cats as much as if they were my own.
Currently, I have two kitties of my own, Maximus (16yo, male) and Arcturus (11yo, female). I’m familiar with caring for cats from kittenhood (as young as 5 weeks old) to elderly cats in their final days. I’m also familiar with providing medication and/or home treatment (per veterinarian instructions) for clients who need it. I am passionate about ensuring the happiness and well-being of your feline companions while you're away. I understand their unique language and needs and am committed to delivering you the best cat sitting services possible.​ You can trust me in caring for your cats in Lahaina and the surrounding West Maui area, from Kapalua to Olawalu.
